If you're looking for a site that allows you to park your domain names and manage all of the DNS zones from the web http://www.infodns.com/ might be of interest. They offer what they call a WebDNS interdace that'll let you manage both primary and secondary zones on their servers for free.

They don't offer website hosting but it'd be worth signing up and managing your zones there just so it's easier to point them to ISPs.

yep i have to agree with technel now... i have 40 domains and around 25 of them hosted on a dedicated server at rackspace.com 500 mhz upgraded to 384MB ram, 10GB hdd and 50GB/month

Hello all,

I presently have 12 registered domain names. I found it was easier and cheaper in the long run to have your own dedicated server to put all the domains on. I am using dialtoneinternet.net and I have been very happy with them. Granted, dedicated hosting is not cheap but consider the cost of hosting 12 domain names on different servers or paying additional costs for each domain.

I pay a flat 300.00 per month with a 50 gig per month max. Additional gigs can be ordered in 50 gig increments or you can just pay the over max charges per month. I also managed to get weekly backups included in this cost. It can cost more depending on the CPU speed, drive space, and memory. I find the 400 Mhz Pent II, 8 gigs, and 256 megs of memory is fine for my needs.

Dialtoneinternet has an admin interface which makes if very easy to add virtual domains, DNS, and email addresses. The only real consideration when going with a dedicated server is having a working knowledge of Unix operating systems.

All and all, I would highly recomend Dialtoneinternet dedicated servers to anyone wanting to run muliple domains on the same machine. BEST OF ALL......IT'S YOUR MACHINE.

One word of advice. My grandmother always told me not to put all my eggs in one basket, and since I make money with my online ventures I still keep an additional two domains on two seperate servers in case my server is down for any reason. At least I won't loose a lot of money because all my domains are down. Just for the record, my server has never went down in the 10 months I have had it.

not sure... but that's why i went dedicated as well, with 36+ domains needed housing paying a virtual host per domain charges would be too much...

http://www.mydomain.com or http://www.myinternet.com is great for free url masked domain redirection... which i used and still use for 4 or 5 domains.
