Just something to add...

The logo looks good (I really like the font and the way you did it) but the rings are really fuzzy. Try to sharpen those up. The gold and silver colors in the logo gives me the impression of a really classy looking site. But the colors you have in the rest of the site (the greens, blues etc) really don't go with that look and feel. A suggestion would be is to use more of the gold and silver colors througout the rest of the site and not just in the logo.

I totally agree with most of what everyone here is saying. I really do not like my homepage, but I am at a loss on how to create a side nav in the way I invision it. What I would like to see is the side nav broke down into sections, and then a drop down (jump box) for each section. You have all been a world of help and now I just need to learn what it is I am after.

I really like the logo - it looks really good and fits well with your theme, but the rest of the design doesn't seem to coordinate with it very well. Maybe try toning down the colours and streamlining them a little (reduce the number of colours used).

I don't really mind the menu but that Trial Version stuff that keeps poping up is really annoying and I don't think it's the most suitable option in this case. Maybe some little icons like Grandmaster mentioned, or graphic links in a scripted font (like the logo) would work better. From a usability perspective there are way too many different options in the menu - it's usually recommended that you keep the number of options around 6-8. I don't have any specific recommendations for that but it would be a good idea to divide all of your links into 6-8 broad categories.

Well, here's my little review:

1). Lots of content. Superb!
2). I browsed through a few of the subpages and it looks like every single one of them are independant in design from one another. Not good.
3). I like the iTREE thing, actually.
4). The banners don't matter. Who cares? They're at the bottom, so it doesn't really matter.
5). Fix the 800x600 scrolling problem mentioned above.

Overall, looks like you put a lot of work into it, and it paid off!

Ok, this is gonna be short and sweet because I don't have much time right now...

1) The logo is very nice looking, but you need to make it a little small and sharpen it up because it's fuzzy looking.

2) I don't really like the Java menu. You could easily recreate something like that with graphics and html, and it wouldn't take so long to load. You could also change the color so it matched the rest of the site.

3) Like Ken said, the width of the page makes it scroll on 800x600 resolutions. Make the table 760px in width to make it not scroll.

4) You have a lot of worthless crap on the bottom of the site. I'd scrap all the banners and webrings unless they're bringing in TONS of visitors for you, which I doubt they are.

I like the logo, its pretty nice.

On the Itree thing, see if you could get icons to go with the theme of your site, like a wedding cake or something..

It is slightly bigger then 800 by 600, make the marginheight and width set to 0, that will take alot of the horizontal nav bar away, if not all of it.

And theres a few to many banners at the bottom, maybe two at the bottom at most.

Well this isn't going to be a review of the whole site (which looks like it would take months). No shortage of content there.

In terms of interactive, you have already found bravenet.com which has all sorts of very good, simple, cut and paste interactive stuff (which can have the banners removed for $).

Watch for font size 1 which is almost unreadable on a Mac, and I'd invest in the real version of the Itree menu to avoid that 'trial version' notice popping up:)

BTW - your server was s l o o o o w when I visited.
