Now where have I seen that logo used before...?

Which is why I don't like it. It reminded me extremely of TWF's, and since I don't go to your site, I can only assume that you used the design because you implemented it on TWF.

Anyways, the rest of the site would look good, but I just don't like the colors. That pale-ish blue didn't really seem to go with the logo, nor did the dull grey.

All in all, it looks pretty good, but the colors are just...nah.

Anyways, good work, and I hope to be hearing you yelling at me in the coming hours.

I was going to give him the URL to the tutorial at designsbymark.com

FYI - I did it before

Don't know if he can, but I can
It's pretty easy, actually.... Just do this:
Open up photoshop, select the image you want to put the lines over.

Make a new document with a transparent background with these dimensions: w- 400 h- 2.

Use the line tool to draw a black line over exactly one half of that image, so that there is one pixel covered and one not covered. (Make sure anti-aliasing for the line tool is off)

Then, select all and go to EDIT > Define Pattern

After that, you have 2 options.

1. Create a new layer, select all, and fill it with the pattern. Then, set the layer to "screen" or "softlight". Make sure it's only above the layer that you want to have the lines on it.

2. Select the portion of the image you want to have the scan lines on it, then create a new layer with that still selected. Fill it with the patten by EDIT>FILL>PATTERN and set the layer to either screen or softlight.

Good luck!

1) The logo. Cool, but there is too much empty space to the right of it. You could probably fit the ad banner up there if you squished the logo a little. Anyway, my point is that you need to fill that emptyness with something.

2) The right side menu. It looks like it was just thrown in there. First off, I think you need to add a bg color and divider and all that stuff. Second, you need to find stuff to put there. Maybe news (moreover tpye thing), newsletter info, etc...

3) The content area. It looks bare to me. For some reason I like webmaster site that are jam packed with stuff.
