    <description> &lt;p&gt;Another good application example reference is the Perl Cookbook by O&#039;Reilly.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Bottom line is that you need to build a library if you want to cover all bases.  Each book has its strengths and weaknesses&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;Well I started with PERL and CGI for the World Wide Web, and then I moved on to the PERL core Language Little Black Book. It covers some of the more complex areas of PERL.&lt;/p&gt;
