I don't see what your point is. Perhaps you can't see that Chicken is making a very valid argument. And, what he is also saying is that your story changes in ways that get more strange/legitamate each time. He's also talking about IP's, not ISP's.

Just to head this one off at the pass, Im sure youre going to notice that mochman has the same ISP as me when I am at home, and start spouting off about that. Yes it is also possible for web hosts to have the same broadband service (roadrunner in this case) as their customers. And no I am not running around breaking into peoples houses to use their static IP roadrunner accounts to post messages, although im sure ill be accused of that next. These people you are insulting are my customers, and people that I deal with and real life. They do not deserve to be treated this way. Is this how you welcome all new members to your forums?

Not that it is really any of your business at all, but that post was made buy a customer of mine whom I work with at my other job. And yes you caught us, we both access the internet through the same gateway server while at work (hence the same IP). Do you know what a gateway server is? Thank you for so politely pointing that out in a public forum as opposed to maybe emailing me and asking for an explaination which I would have been happy to provide. As for your comments about me deleting posts in other threads I did not do this and do not know who did, but I assume it was a moderator of this forum who also is not aware of the possibility of say, 250 computers in the same building appearing to have the same IP to the outside world.

Well i posted that I used hostrocket and then the person from thinkhost accused me of not being hosted by hostrocket. Well, the owner of hostrocket proved that i was being hosted. So the guy from thinkhost made an apology and then all the posts under me got deleted. Hope this clears up any questions you might have had.

Nice his boss lets him surf the forums from his computer. I know my bosses never let me do this, nor would I *ever* let one of my employees touch my machine, but maybe things are looser over at hostrocket. I say this not to be mean, just as an observation (which I think most people might agree with?).

I'd hate to be wrong here (specially since I posted that message a few times ), but if nothing else, it was an employee recommending the place he works for, using a hotmail account, and not mentioning that he was employed there. I've seen that other poster under him (mochman) recommend hostrocket also (with just about the same message, so I am a *bit* suspicious if there are multiple multiple personalities).

Searching Sitepoint's Web Site Reviews for the user name mochman brings up a table with a post that doesn't seem to be there, dated July 21, 2000 (the topic is not the same), but if you click on it, it is a post by Brendan of hostrocket about the hostrocket site. Ehhhhh? Any thoughts?
