Linking Pages.

My host provider answered back, and set me straight. My question was: is it required for me to register each linkable page, on my site, under a sub-domain?

He replied, “You may have as many pages as you need. A domain covers all the pages needed to complete the site. If you have myco.com/index.htm as your opening page; then you may use myco.com/page 2.htm, all the way up to 999 if you would like—it is all still one domain.

“If you have more than one product, and you want separate the two sites within one domain…there is an easy way and a hard way. You can make a folder in your site using the name of your other company/product (i.e.www.myoriginalcompany/myothercompany/index.htm). This would be the first page of your new web site.

“You are also able to have several folders in your directories. It’s more or less like a Windows Explorer view. You have files in the folders, and the files are pages, the folders are directories within your site.”

I doctored this quote up a bit, so that it would be easier to understand for other forum members, with the same question—oops. Sorry, I wasted you time, Thinkhost. I hope you didn’t rack your brain…“catch” you next time around.

Please rephrase your question -- I don't understand what you're asking.

Sincerely,
