Yep thats it. I took out the archive button and it sorts itself out !!

woohoooooooo...

I've decided the banners not going there now as it looks to big at the bottom of the page. Gonna try and get a smaller less in your face on.

Cheers !!

The combo of your banner and the "archives" graphic looks to be too wide for the cell it's in, thus it pushes the nav bar on the left narrower to compensate, even though you specify a width of 150 on it. Since the nav column is narrower, but still has the same amount of text to display, it gets longer. That's where the whitespace comes in below the banner.

The banner alone should be narrow enough for the cell, so maybe play with putting the archive graphic above or below it?

(another newbie, so I may be totally off on this )

Yeah I can see why you think that, but every thing is o.k before you put the banner in the table. The page is filled up nicely.

Its only when you actually put the "banner4.gif" bit in that it makes that large space.

Look at the nutrition page to see what I mean....

I just noticed that when you put the banner in the table it shortens the width of the page and therefore spaces out the nav bar ? ? ? ? How come ? ? ? ?

I don't really understand the problem. I see the big white space below your table, but that's there because your left menu makes the page that long, and your content area is shorter...
