&lt;p&gt;I was surprised by this bug also. Once news of this got around, all the major NT hosts made sure they had the patch. I have NT accounts with Powersurge and Virtualscape and both those hosts checked out ok.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This was a MAJOR bug since many ASP developers store sensitive information inside ASPs, like DB usernames and passwords among other things.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You would think that with every new release of IIS they would fix this, it&#039;s been kicking around in one form or another since IIS3, so far IIS5 is looking ok, but we&#039;ll have to wait and see.&lt;/p&gt;
