&lt;p&gt;I can&#039;t help you with FileMaker Pro since I&#039;ve never used it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&#039;m not sure where you can find a definition of the compliance levels but I know they refer to the level of complexity of your SQL statements.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The most basic level of compliance are simple commands like:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;create table&lt;br /&gt;
drop table&lt;br /&gt;
selects (simple)&lt;br /&gt;
insert (simple)&lt;br /&gt;
update (simple)&lt;br /&gt;
delete (simple)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Then the next level contains more advanced commands like:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;alter table&lt;br /&gt;
create view&lt;br /&gt;
create index&lt;br /&gt;
etc.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;An so on.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Looks like you answered your second question. It sounds like they&#039;re limiting your ability to use it inside server side pages.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Can you import the data into another database format that is better suited for the web?&lt;/p&gt;
