Yeah, nav buttons ill work on a bit. I did the site mainly because i needed a cgi project for my portfolio, so im more worried about functionality than appearance. I posted it here to make sure it doesnt look horrid, and it didnt get ripped too bad so i assume it passed.

Also, the site probably doesnt make much sense to you, but to the audience its targeted at it would make perfect sense.

Sykaro, im not sure what you mean. Are you responding to the wrong thread? I have always been good at spelling, and I went back and checked and could not find one error?!?!?!

I am certainly no expert, but when the first thing I see are spelling mistakes, I am not motivated to look further. You might want to use both a spell checker and a grammar checker.

Sorry if I sound picky, spelling is just one of those things to me! We all make mistakes and I am certain I have a few on my site, but these were pretty obvious.

Hope that helps, other than the spelling, the site was quite appealing.

Interesting

- Your nav buttons need a great deal of work. Change the blue to maybe a shade of green. Make mouseovers on them too.

- As with Justin I don't really know what your site is about when I first get there.

- Try to move that banner to the bottom of the site, if you can. It looks pretty bad up on the top.

1) What is the site about? I would add a short one-line description of what the site is about on the homepage.

2) Not all the pages have the border around it. Uniform them all!

3) What's up with the logo that says "people" on it? Doesn't the site have a name?

4) Center the site.

5) I don't like the blue menu buttons. They stand out like a sore thumb. It doesn't go with the rest of the design either.

Really? It looks like a nice soft grayish green to me.

I think you need more of an explanation of what your site is about - this doesn't make any sense to me, but then maybe it's perfectly obvious to your target audience.

This really isn't all that bad. It would look a lot better if there wasn't an ad there, and if you centered the content on the page. The gray table backgrounds don't look the greatest, but I don't know what else you could do.

A better logo/header would definitely be a good addition. Keep that horse-shoe logo thing, but take the text off it and write your title and slogan in a unique font beside it. You might want to put that ad in a dark blue table, just to separate it from the rest of the site.

Overall this isn't the greatest looking site I've ever seen. It looks a little amateurish, but for your purposes there's nothing really wrong with that. It sounds like the main thing you're trying to show off here is the programming. For some odd reason this design seems to fit very well with your topic...

The navigatio menu needs work.

The background idea would only work if you have an appeasing color, i think the technical term for that color is "boogey"

i think you need to find a color scheme or theme to your site, then it will work out.

Wow- looks awesome!

1) Get a real URL. Typing nothing into the address bar can be a little hard to remember. Maybe a domain name or sub-domain at least.

2) After typing nothing into the address bar I come to a white page with no text, no nothing. Maybe adding a little color would spice it up a bit.

3) Content is the final part. Now, aside from the white background, all I see is nothing. Maybe add some text, and maybe a logo would help also.

Other then that the white page w/ nothing on it looks superb! Sorry, I'm bored...
