Nice.

1) I see no need to have the splash entry page. It's just an extra click for the user.

2) You need to add another color besides just white, green, and black. I would add another "hot" color like bright orange or blue or something like that.

3) Pre-load the image flips.

4) Add some dividers to the page which divide: a) the menu from the content area, and b) the content area from the news part.

5) I also see no need to have pop-ups, but if you like them then I guess they're fine.

You could also create an english version...

It's OK, but there is a lot of white space... Fix that up, and you've got yourself a nice site.
