Oooookay, now the design is different...I don't like how in the middle, the text is a graphic! Some people have graphics turned off, and they wouldn't be able to read it. I don't like the pink and blue, they don't go together well. the logo is still blurry, very! I don't like how "Fine women's clothing made to order in the USA!" flys in at the top. Other then that, it is fine.

I don't care for the colors a whole lot. Especially the pink.

The logo is very very very blurry. It would be good if you made it not blurry. The rest of the site is good.

I really hate the pink. The design is okay, but it kinda resembles my site a little. I don't care though, it is fine with me. The logo is a little blurry too. it also needs a little more color, it is a bit plain. Good job though, and keep up the good work!

Those colours have got to be toned down some - the pink is really hurting my eyes. I can't stand to look at it.

I agree about the logo as well, and the graphics. It's generally a bad idea to use graphics for your main content when you could be using text instead.

The navigation menu needs work - either use an oval shape or a rectangle for your buttons - not both. Mouseovers would be a nice touch as well. I also think that all of the buttons should appear on every page - it just gets confusing when they're switched around like that.

A couple more little things: The black border isn't showing up on the "about us" or "contact us" pages in IE. The vLink colour should be changed to something that matches the main colour scheme better.

As much as you want to control the look, using an image in place of text is a serious error. It is an error not just because it looks poor, but also because it makes the page inaccessible. You don't even have the alt attribute set for the images, so it is truly inaccessible.

I agree with the guys that there is something off about the border -- I think it's because there is a margin and the blocks look like they should be pushed out to the edges of the window.

The pink and blue are too intense, they distract from the content, which is never a good thing. Images should augment the user experience, illustrate the product or information and move the user through the site. Using them in this way is ineffective, and counter to the purpose of the site.

The linking images are, um, old style. Why not use just text and have smaller versions of the flowers as accents or rollovers? I think the whole page would look better without the big blocks of colour, actually.

The logo -- don't resize the image, use a graphics editor and recreate it larger. That will resolve the fuzzy look. You can also cut up the logo so that the Pretty Things is one image, the girl another and the quote yet another. That will allow you to use different file types and compression/colour settings to get the smallest file sizes AND the best look.

Hi,

Definetely need to sharpen the logo. I like it otherwise.

I like the color combination. For what is being sold, it fits.

I don't like the scrolling text.

I think the blue bg behind the nav menu would look better narrower.

Alternative would be to make the pink top bar blue and place your buttons across the top inside the blue bar instead of down the left side. By doing this, most of your text would fit in one screen and eliminate unnecessary scrolling.

I thought your load time was OK. Didn't time it, but seemed to load fairly fast. Rule of thumb is for your total page size (html page + graphic(s) size) should be no more than 50-60k.

OK, got the opinion of two guys, where's the girl?

1) The logo is really blurry. It wouldn't be to bad if it was nice and crisp, but it's pretty blurry.

2) Either get rid of the pink bar, or get rid of the scrolling text. Or maybe even get rid of both!

3) The main content of each page doesn't have to be graphics. The same thing can be achieved with text, and it would also cut down on load-time.

4) There needs to be a border or something around the page.

5) The menu buttons are ok, but they could be better. But I don't know- they work fine.
