It's said that people process visual information faster than words, so if there was a car in the logo or something, it would give an immediate impression of what the site is about. Maybe that white space on the front page could be rearranged to accomodate a picture of a car. A little dingbat character (of a car) would be more effective than those empty circles you've got beside the headings.
