Lookin' good!

The only thing I have to add is about the G logo. For some reason it just doesn't fit with the rest of the site. (the colors) It definitely needs be bigger, it needs to be more clear, and I am not fan of all of the gray. It just looks kind of drab next to the rest of the site.

Very close! Very, very close...

1) You need to put a search button next to your search box. Most users won't know to push enter.

2) Your biggest problem is there is no where to put your sites navigation. The place that is most logical is where the news is. You need a navigation!

3) You need to specify that your site is a directory of Computers and Internet sites only. If I were a visitor, I would start looking for the rest of the categories...

4) Your "G" logo needs to big a little bigger. Why not make the yellow side bar not be "cut into" by the banner ad part, and than you could make the logo bigger. Sorry, but it's hard to explain. What I mean is: get rid of of the "<<"

Um, I think he didn't post the right URL - I kind of assumed that he was talking about the one at http://www.goodbookmarks.com/testing/ or something like that - I can't get into it now for some reason.

Anyway - Justin told to get rid of the arrow thing at the top. I don't really agree with that. If you just had a square box up there it would look the same as every other site with a sidebar menu. Maybe the arrow shouldn't be pointing to the left, off the page though.... I don't know (ooh, I just had a really good idea for this!)

I like the colors, but that maroon box in the middle doesnt go well, and neither do the grey ones underneath it. I dunno, maybe its just that it's too early and my eyes are still focusing, but I might change it to a blue or something that goes with the rest of your site.

Maybe from now on you can post updates in one thread instead of starting a new thread for each change Sorry, it's just getting kind of annoying to see all those goodbookmarks threads. Also I think if you reviewed more other sites in this forum you might get a better response .

Anyway, about your site, it does look a lot better now. I would change the color of the search box to probably a grey, but a light yellow or blue would work also. Also, on the logo I noticed that there is a "white halo" around your G image. To remove this, create that logo on a yellow background in photoshop, and when you make the background transparent the rest will just blend in with the current background... hope all of that made sense

Since your site is just Computers and Internet sites now, why don't you just have Computers and Internet news? I think that would be better.

Where are you going to put your main menu now, since the news is taking up where it should be?

I think that you should just extend the yellow bar all the way up, and not have the '<<' things anymore.

About the logo, should it say 'GoodBookmarks,' not 'Goodbookmarks'? I agree with Megan, that most logo's today are just text with a cool font. If you don't just want a cool font, then look around at what you like.

Now that's a colour combination I could life with! The blue and bright yellow work well together. The only problem is that greenish yellow for the search box - that's icky. It looks weird to have a coloured box there anyway, because of the shading on the bright yellow part. Maybe you could just move the search to that yellow sidebar? Is the blue at the bottom the same as the blue at the top? If it's not, change it so they match exactly.

I also think that the yellow bar should extend all the way down the page. You've got a weird looking white space shape there. If it extended all the way down the page, you could make it a background which might help your download speeds, and you could put other stuff on it like maybe your search box.

Center your table so it looks better at higher resolutions.

What are you going to do for your navigation on the rest of the pages? Will that go in the yellow area?

Now, you still need a better logo and title. Try looking at what some of the big sites have done. What you'll notice is that most of them just put their text into a special font and call it a logo - not very hard to do.
