Hey I post in your racing games forum sometimes.

I find your old/current site very messy looking. I really do not like the design.

The new design looks much cleaner. You should really tweak the colour of the forums too. They look very bland.

Hi guys, thanks for your feedback!

Don't worry about the purple either side of the banners - those spaces will be taken with 120x60 mini banners as soon. As we have created them...

The cars.com/about.com pop-up will be going soon. (I hate it too...!)

Do you think it would really be a good idea to move the links tree to the top of the page ? The reason it's at the end of the page is that I decided to have the useful, often changing, content at the top of the page.

The white space below the pick of the week was an error - forgot the valign="top" thingy... Fixed now

Confusing navigation seems to be a recurring comment here. How would you suggest I improve things ?

Yeah, much better!

1) I don't think you should have the color around the banner(s). Do you have it in a table and then have a cell bg color?

2) Way too many navigations. I counter like, uh, 10 or something. Too many!

3) The main page is pretty long, which is ok, but I would fill it up more.

Overall it looks really good!

Wow - What an improvement!

I like your colours (used the same mauve on my own site), but they don't say "Motorsport" to me. I would go with something brighter and bolder.

The navigation looks really confusing to me. There are five or six different menus here!!! That should be streamlined somehow, although you've got a lot of content to organize here. The bottom Yahoo-like one should be closer to the top so people don't have to scroll to find your content. I'm also getting some weird pop-ups (an about.com window keeps coming up. weird and annoying)

There are a couple of little layout problems too - the bars beside the ads at the top and bottom look funny because they're a similar but different colour from the right side navigation menu. There's also a chunk of white space below your "pick of the week" - white space is good, but that's just a weird place for it.
