I like the DHTML and the site is appealing. A little bit cluttered (closely spaced). I have to agree with Brooke - the text is hard to read for me also. The gray text is hard on my eyes. Maybe a bolder font might help?

Overall, it's a nice site.

BTW - it didn't take too long to load for me, and I have a real slow connection.

I've added a DHTML menu to the page, but I left the other menu there too. I am not sure if I like the colors of it, so it might change a little. Anyways, please go back to my site and tell me what you think.

There is a shift in NN 4.6 800X600 15" monitor in the top right -- the chiquitas are cut in half and not seamlessly put back together.

I find the links hard to read, as well, because they are so small and low contrast and a narrow font.

With the length of the front page, you could either make the links larger (10px verdana, 11px maybe) or cut the length of the first page.

Instead of dhtml, or in addition, make the title go to sub-index pages for further descriptions. You have a lot of links on the first page and it is overwhelming.

For some reason all of the text looks gray. And the gray against the black or blue backgrounds just isn't very easy to see...even when I increase the font size. In my opinion it needs to be brighter - but everyone else seems okay with it!

I think it looks really good when you scroll down and the sides are empty, maybe if you do use dropdown menus having loads of room around each one....

Sounds Good! Like they said make DHTML menus and I think you might be all set.

Okay, this is all stuff I want to know. I am working with some new menus now, I will post again when i get them up to see what everyone thinks here. I can't imagine what you had trouble reading Brooke unless you were trying to read the dark-grey text on the menus (inactive links) because I can see everything just fine.

I personally think it's hard to read - even when I increase the text size. I also think the sides are too cluttered with too much stuff. Drop down boxes might help with that nicely as mentioned above!

Captain,

Why don't you try Dhtml drop-down menus? I would expect that most of your visitors have higher end browsers, and that would really let you get rid of a lot of the clutter without taking the links off the front page. I like the one at http://www.webmonkey.com

If you're not sure about the dHTML, I think there are a bunch of free services that will generate the script for you - builder.com and maybe devhead.

Load time was really bad for me. Probably all those images. Try to use a compression program.
