try editing your .htaccess file so you wouln't have to let web surfers click on your enter button, instead they'd be redirected to your directory automatically.

That enter page also has four or five different fonts - bad idea. Try to limit the number of different fonts on a page.

YOur navigation isn't bad, but I think that in a site like this you should be able to jump between categories without going back to the home page.

The pale gray you've used is a little too pale - it blends into the page too much. You could either make it darker or put thin borders around it (like this page!). I would also try to integrate that green a little more with the rest of the page.

You've also got some grammar problems - especially that introductory sentence right below the banner ad.

Lastly, I think you've got to organize your information on the page. Stuff seems to be scattered around too much. That's why the boxes on the side work so well - they separate the extra info like newsletter subscriptions from the main content.

Yeah- it's a little basic, but it gets the point across.

The colors don't really go together, and are, er, a little boring. The navigation is pretty easy, and the site loads fast on my connection.

Overall it's good, but there is room for improvement...

Why don't you leave off the index page and just have http://www.1001mediakits.com/directory/ as your mainpage? The first page (where it asks you to enter) is in my opinion slightly annoying. It seems to load very fast and it is quite an orriginal idea. Seems a bit bland thoough
