Yes, the fuzzy logo at the top isn't so nice.

Also, I'm a boxy person myself, but I like boxes & tables to line up at the sides.
I'm not so sure all those tables are really necessary, they're somewhat distracting...

I don't know...there is just something about it. I don't feel like I am at a main page - kind of a misc page in the site somewhere.

Also, I do like the logo (the webmasters-only title bar) but for some reason it feels like a banner ad on this page. That might be a turnoff for the look of the page.

But I like how the colors are brighter. It's much more eye catching!

Check your spelling and the grammatical content. Doesn't inspire a lot of trust in your site when there are several spelling errors. Think your in Japan and if English isn't your native language, get somebody else to write it for you if needed.

Logo looks alot like one JP used to use here on TWF?

I think it's a bit dark. It really doesn't grab my attention. Although I do think the layout and design is nice.

If you are trying to get people to leave their email addresses - try to make the text short and to the point. Really grab their attention so that they will want to leave it.

Looks OK at the moment, and loads quickly. You might want to change the image at the top (Join) to a text link so it loads faster and isn't so fuzzy. ~Tim
