Hi Eitan,

As I just posted a similar request for a review, I am obviously not expert, but here is what I think.

When I was doing some research on design, I read that a lot of people make there site too busy by putting too many colors, too many fonts, and way too much animation. You just don't know where to look first because there is so much going on. A lot of designers get caught up in using every technique in the book instead of just concentrating on a few to make the site effective.

I would just use a few of the colors to set the tone and keep it consistent throughout the entire site. Same thing with the fonts.

Anyway, Megs seemed to have some good advice and I can only hope she will be as brutally honest with mine

Megs,
are you on a mission to become our master reviewer?

Crazy,
There is a lot of very good advice here, I know it will be a lot of work but I would advise you go through with as much of it as you can.

Okay here we go.

1. Never tell people to change their screen resolutions. Nobody is actually going to do that. You should always design pages that will look good at any resolution.

2. Pink and red don't match. Period. Change the colours. Actually, now that I've looked at some of your sub-pages, you really need some help with colour combinations. If you think this looks good, you should enlist the help of somebody who has an eye for colour. It's usually best to have one color scheme for every page on your site. If you're going to use a patterned background, choose something tasteful and use it on every page (if you want my honest opinion, patterned backgrounds are very unprofessional, tacky, and an outdated trend). I understand that you're going for a colouful, upbeat look but this is just too much!

3. You should find a way to make the font sizes on your navigation menu all the same. Actually, most of your graphics have an unprofessional, over-optimized look. If all else fails, plain text always looks better than bad graphics. Oh, and learn how to make transparent .gif's.

4. The plural of "software" is not "softwares". I'm not a grammar expert, but I think that "software" can refer to one program or many - it's a plural and singular term. You should always check your spelling - you must have access to a Word Proccessor - just plug your text in there and run spell check before you post your text to the web.

Hi Eitan,
- I don't like the 'Welcome to...' text.
- ...or the warez style writing you sometimes use. ie. 'CoOl STuFf!'
+ I do like the cookie powered update box on the splash page and I would give it more priority on the page.
- I would advise a change in the colour scheme.

PS I only looked quickly as I am in a rush
