thought website was good, everything seems to line up and it is pretty straight forward. Like the anecdotes and info about how site or store actualy came about "Some of the things to be found include hand-carved birds by an 85-year-old, beautiful pottery from a potter's wheel by an 83-year-old retired hairdresser, and intricate silver and gold wire string art created by a 90-year-old in a nursing home. An 83-year-old craftsman, who began using his hands for therapy from a disabling disease, handcrafted a wagon with working parts pulled by a handcarved team of horses. Greeting cards in Braille are handcrafted with a Braille writer by a 36-year-old who has been blind since birth; and a 90-year-old created delicate tatted earrings."
The only thing I would change or add is something on home page that tells you what store is about. maybe one line that said bringing you the finest arts and crafts from independent craftsmans in kanas or something. It seems I had to go to the page that was the story behind kanas originals before i knew anything about what you were selling or dealing with. My brother is KU grad will look you up come christmass time. Sincerely joenov

Dang, I didn't even notice the date on this post. No I didn't go digging. It was near the top last night while I was critiquing others so I thought I would stop by. It even had the little thingy that showed it was a new post. Hmmm..... Wierd.

I am glad that I stopped back by or I wouldn't have even noticed this. I saw your other post this morning about the code tag making the page get 15 feet wide so I thought I would break it up and see if that helped. It did some.

Can you please help us out as asked in the terms of this forum and review some of the other sites posted for critique. This will help you get ideas as well as help others get a fresh pair of eyes on their site.

I definietly agree about changing the font! TNR is very hard to read on screen and doesn't look very professional, neither does italics. Make the margins 0 and the navigation will look a lot better but don't center you links on there. I would also say that your logo needs work. That drop shadow just looks bad and blotchy. Get a nice unique font and just stick to that. Good start though.

This site is simple and to the point. I think you have done a nice job in organizing everything.
However, I am not too crazy about the times new roman font you are using. Try Veranda or Arial.

A nice logo would help this site a bunch. Do you do graphics?

The blue table on the right that the navigation, etc. is in looks a bit amateurish with it just sitting there like a big blue box. Add these margins to your body tag and see what you think.

You have several tags that aren't placed properly. For example:

Just a quick note about your catalog pages. I went to the woodcarving page and looked at your bumpy bus. There is a button for product information. The information on that page was exactly the same. If you are not presenting any new information loss the page. It would also help clean up the page to get rid of the extra buttons.

Second on the same page, I visited 5 or 6 pages before I noticed the next button. You might make it more visable by replacing the button with a graphic.

You can try turning off your table border and also you could try arial or helvetica fonts on your site, it sure helps a lot.

Hi and welcome to TWF!

The site looks good in a very basic sense, what I mean is that you achieve a clean/easy to navigate site without any visually impressive elements. If this is what you wanted well done, otherwise I have a few tips:
- get a good logo.
- frame your image (black line maybe - thin)
- use a white bg.
- don't center everything as it looks weird in a two column layout.
