I just took a look at your site and a couple of things jumped out at me.
First, the far right links column "on webmasters hub" looks crooked. Could be that it's one line higher then the other two columns and doesn't balance with the rest of the page. You might want to move it up, down, or line it up. You may want to separate that column by placing the links in a highlited box/column or adding a vertical bar. Even add graphic to make it stand out.

Second thing I noticed is a lack of contrast between the background color and black body text.
( I have a bad monitor right now so if I viewed the color incorrectly please forgive me, and ignore this paragraph .
I can read it well enough in small doses but my eyes have to work a little bit harder and I may give up before I finish the articles. Your site is an article/information based so you need to pay attention to the readability of your information more then say a graphics intense site. One basic readability rule for large text areas -- use a light background with dark text or a dark background with lite text, your background color (on my bad monitor) falls into the "middle" range so it's harder to guess which works better. One very simple test for checking contrast is to look at the page and "squint" your eyes, what do you see? The yellow jumps out and the black fades into the background.

Last thing I would suggest is to add a few simple graphics to draw attention to your articles, people (especially visual people like me) are drawn to images. I'm happy to help more with this if your interested but since I tend to ramble on forever I'll wait for a response from you.

Ryan,
Me again, are you from the UK? I ask because of the Pub and Brew ref in the site

Anyway...
- Nice clear design though green might not be the best colour choice.
- Logo farly neat but cuts off background pattern.
- Easy to read.
- Needs some content, but I expect that is coming
