Yes, they *USED* to be a reseller or having a dedicated server with CI Host then they got in big crash during Y2K around Dec 28th then was down for 6 days then moved to thier own NOC which is $2 Million which I don't believe them.

Yes, they spend too much adversiting rather than new services. Very sad of them, in fact I know the CEO of the company threated to many people in email which is unpolite about it too...

I wouldn't do business with CI Host again, ever. I am happy at my new server... Thank god i found a good host!

Don't ever bother CI Host, ever! EVER!! If you get a email from CI Host threating you, send that to BBB!!

Ci host oversells its webspace. They are merely renting servers from OLM.net(I think I read that). If not OLM they rent from someone else. I would go with OLM before them. In every newsgroup I read they are saying it stinks lately. They put most of their money in advertising not server upgrades.

I had signed up with a host at Alabanza and very happy about it, I am sure I will stay there for while!!

I really have no idea why people still go with CI host! I've heard hundreds of terriable things about them...

Yes, that was CEO's wife and in fact I remembered I saw her lawyer's website, I mean her own but it points to cihost.com and sounds weird.

Plus they are already in deep trouble becuase of so many problems since Y2K. Believe it or not, they are having a lawsuit in August for a court date which I heard about.

Other than that, CI Host still having problems!

This does not surprise me...I've heard TERRIBLE things about CI Host in the past...my impression is that they pamper the large sites and dump the lower ones whenever they feel like it. Rumor has it someone who works in the company (the VP's wife, or something like that) is a high-profile lawyer...so they win a lot of fully legitimate lawsuits.

I can't speak for them, but I think SitePoint had problems with CI Host way back when they were known as Webmaster-Resources.com...not sure, but I've only heard anything good about them in once place: from them.
