I haven’t personally used either, however I’ve been keeping an eye out for dedicated servers for a few corporate sites I’m associated with, I also use CommuniTech for my sites along with about 6 of my clients sites. Alabanza seems to have a nice control panel setup for your clients, so they may be better for a hosting company. However CommuniTech has a incredible network setup.

Yeah, I got an email from them saying they had a spring "special." It's like this:

-550MHz Pentium III
-512MB Ram
-9 GB HD
-500IPs
-50GB Bandwidth
-$400 per month for a year, then $800 per month after that. I think the $400 is a pretty sweet price, but after a year it'll be hell.

For some reason that also seems pretty lopsided. 512MB with only a 9GB HD? and 500IPs with only 50GB Bandwidth. You'll never host up to 500 virtual domain accounts with only that much bandwidth.

Anyway- I didn't want to open a new thread, so what is everyone's comments on CommuniTech's dedicated servers? Their prices seem pretty good to me...

-Red Hat 6.1
-500MHz Pentium III
-512MB Ram
-27.2 GB HD
-100GB Bandwidth
-128 IPs
-$647 per month

Remember, this is for my web hosting company, and there would only be 128 accounts per server. Sound good?

------------------
My name is Nitsuj. I bet you're thinking WTF...

alabanza is one of the best and one of the most expensive for dedicated servers

you'll be happy with them if you can afford them

peace...
