Here is my side of the story.

I posted in August of 1999, regarding me starting a new business, hosting. Sean Rosler from BurstNET contact me and we started to talk. He convinced me to become a reseller, and that was a good idea. I was going to resell for BurstNET, and that was that. However, I got pulled away from that and got involved into another side project, with BurstNET, which will remain anonymous. However, I worked on that for or atleast until December/January, when stuff happened so that I never was involved anymore. I however worked hard, but was never rewarded for it.

Then, I still was going to start my own, considering I wasted large amounts of time on the project previosly with BurstNET. However, I asked more questions, and then finally they were all answered. I did not IM every 20 minutes, I asked very minimal, but according to Sean, they were large numbers. I have been trying to ask the following lately.

How much does a T3 cost?
- That was for a friend. I was asking in general which I stated and I figured they were cool and nice to me all this time, maybe they could help me out. I still had all intentions of signing up.

How much does it cost to establish an anonymous Merchant Account back-end?
- First answer I was given was that they were not going to do them anymore. Then I was told that whoever told me that was mis-informed. I never did get an answer.

I personally think that BurstNET is growing really fast, faster than they can handle. I have referred many people, including Justin Stayton, and no-skill.net to name a few.

No questions were ever asked that should have been asked. If however Sean thinks that I did that, he can tell me something along the lines of "Sorry, due to X, X, and X, I can't answer it.". I can accept that. I dont consider "because", or "I cant tell you that", is not an answer. An example would be of a discussion I had with Chad Simper of DIS. I asked him who he was using for a Merchant Account, and he told me that he could not tell me due to a "non-disclosure" agreement, until the rest of the stuff was worked out in a couple of weeks.

To top it all off, I have NOT been making inquiries for the past 6 months ever day that are not my knowledge to know. All questions I did ask were related to there services.

BurstNET was very courteous to begin with, and they did answer support and sales questions very quickly.

When I try to contact BurstNET through IM, I usually say "Sean ya there", to make sure someone is there. Either I get someone else besides Sean, like Keith or Patrick. Both of them answer my questions really good, or they tell me to ask Sean.

BurstNET you are still free to contact me at FibrOptikL@aol.com, Instant Message me at FibrOptikL, or send me an ICQ at 4938485.

Any others who still would like to contact me, use the above methods.

This was considered before posting the above response. However, details of the situation being taken into consideration that you are not aware of, and which will not be made public, left such as the only course of action to defend our firm's excellant reputation against the whims of a 15 year old child. Yes, that is correct, the post above that we refer to is that of a 15 year old child that has no business acting in the manner he has towards our staff. We will not stand by idly and allow such.

BurstNET -- I am in business and have never allowed myself or any of my staff to offend a client openly whether in writing or verbal.

Although sometimes we feel like giving a piece of our mind and let him(customer) tastes the same medicine(poison) that he has been giving us.

Don't you think it's very foolish to air your anger in this forum? where thousand may be reading this reply as it also creates a bad image on your company. You must always think that alot of member of this forum can think for themselves as we are matured enough to know right from wrong and also some of them may be your existing customers.

OK, I am gonna close this topic. It has ventured off of the original reseller program topic.

Everyone has expressed their opinions or defended their sides so if you want to continue this conversation further, you can via e-mail, ICQ, phone, etc. Just not at TWF.

Thanks.

[edit]I opend the post to allow Adam to make his post as BurstNET has given their side of what "really" happened whereas Adam had not given his opinion and so as to not hurt either one, I thought it fair to allow Adam his opinion. This thread is now being closed permanently.[/edit]

Ok, I think it's time I took my side on this matter. I know Adam through ICQ, and he can sometimes become a little annoying, and sometimes ask some personal business questions But overall his intensions are good and he's a nice guy. BUT, he isn't a client of BurstNET's, so he doesn't really know much about them, and so I think that is why they are becoming a little annoyed at what he said. Although Adam probably didn't think of what might happen by what he said, he could/probably have turned away many people who were thinking of using them.

Many of my friends use BurstNET, and ALL of them have been satisfied. You can also look at their record at many Web Hosting Indexes, and see how many satisfied customers they have. I use BurstNET for a few of my personal sites, and have found their support to be very fast and corteous, and their services to be excellent.

You sir, specifically have been driving our staff crazy.
We are not here to teach you how to be our competitor.
You have asked way to many questions regarding our firm that are none of your business.
For the past 6 months you have been making inquiries every day that are not our job to answer. If a client, or prospective client, asks support/sales questions related to our service, they will be answered properly, and promptly. Our staff is corteous and polite.

Abusing our staff on the other hand will result in you will be ignored. You were way out of line.
