A big portion of the site will be links to the best sites I have found and I know a tons of places for each subject. I will make my comments on each subject and include any articles I have written on the subjects.

It sounds like a very good idea. That would be an added bonus for clients since you would most likely be the only host providing this feature.

Normally I find that hosts give to much "basic" HTML info. They could simply link to one of 5000 webmaster sites.

Work on a good FAQ, full list of how to use the features that come with the account. In a easy to read and FIND-ABLE format.

My .02:

I agree with JP. It would have to be well setup, maintained and kept current. Not just another rehash of the same old same-old stuff about META tags, search engines, buying ad space etc.

That stuff is OK and certainly needed for newbies. But in short order you need more "advanced" info. IOW, it could be a good marketing tool for first-time website owners. But you'll need to add more meat to it to be attractive to more experienced website owners.

I think that if this was well marketed and presented it could be an interesting and certainly worthwhile incentive to some potential customers.
