&lt;p&gt;   If I understand you right, yes you need the full url if you are sending the link to a user.&lt;br /&gt;
   What do you mean by &quot;...it does not keep the change&quot;?  FP2000 is reverting the absolute link to a relative one (&quot;images/picture.gif&quot;)?&lt;br /&gt;
 If that is the case, there should be an option to force it to keep it absolute.&lt;br /&gt;
 If not, the easiest solution would be to save the document, call it up in Notepad (or some other text editor), edit the line manually, and save it with Notepad. (That is what I do for dHTML code and FP Xpress)&lt;/p&gt;
