If you have Perl access on your server you can use one of the many free CGI counters. Take a look at http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Perl/Access_Counters/

If you want to use another servers counter services take a look at http://countersguide.hypermart.net/guide.htm

Hi,

If your site is on Almost OnLine (aol), you can pick up a counter from them. Essentially, you simply add the following line to the page you would like the counter to appear in.

< img src="\cgi-bin\counter?YourScreenName">

There are a number of counters offered, so I would advise you to go to AOL's forum at keyword "BHP". They also have tutorials there that explain how to go through the entire process.

It's been a while since I set up my counter, so I really don't remember everything. Of course, if your site isn't on AOL......

 Hope this helps.

Vinny
