&lt;p&gt;With Apple relative fonts definition go from a different absolute value.&lt;br /&gt;
IBM standard size = Apple size=+1/+2&lt;br /&gt;
CSS. IBM: 9pt Apple: 12pt&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This really sucks and we fight with it every day and we end up having two version with two different style sheets.&lt;/p&gt;
