Yes, I just tried the following with an external CSS-file (not included in example)and it works for me (IE).

...
<a class="link">BLACK</a>
<a style="color:red">R E D</a>
...

I asume {text-decoration}s and vlinks can be done the same way, but did not try it.

I would make a style-tag for each link in the table (like John says in your other thread). The style of rest of the links on your page would come from the ex/internal CSS-file.

But what I really want to do is assign {text-decoration:none} to the links in one specific table and have all the other links on the page remain normal/underline.

Any ideas?

Never tried this but it might work:

.page{vlink:red}
.table{vlink:white}

It's not complete but it might give you some ideas.
