I think Homesite's WYSYWIG is better than DW.
When working with <div> in DW, u'll see your <div>'s will not be placed on the spot you put them (it's a difference of some pixels).
That annoys me.

Yep, so do I. I always use Dreamweaver for basic templates (either that or Freehand) - I then do most of the other stuff in Homesite or whatever...

Justin - I go 1st page and it's OK. Wish it had a WYSISYG function, even an elementary one.

How's Homesite's WYSISYG? I'm sure it can't compare to Dreamweaver but how does it compare to say FP?

I use 1st Page 2000, and usually find that to be my favorite. Althought it is text based, it speeds up the process by having the ability for one click insertion of a tag or something. If I'm just changing a spelling error or something then I'll use notepad.

You can do that with Dreamweaver, too.

Hand coding might be the cleaner way, but if you ever have 10 deadlines for million dollar websites, you will see that its simply unpossible to do that with hand coding.

I love Dreamweaver, there is no other WYSIWYG tool which gives you so much control over your code. All the other editors often delete changes you make to the code, DW doesnt. A problem with Version 2.0, to is that absolute placement is off a few pixels, I hope thats fixed in DW 3.

i use interdev and it doesn't asdd <tbody>
maybe you have a old version.

if you are really into building and programming -
you shold even try to buy it.

it is just great!!!
it creates subs and names end a lot of useful things.
for example -
for each object in the document (image, input..etc)
you have a menu - which you can add an eent and a function on only one click!
it just great!!!
if you want i can send you some pics of the program - with the events and the gui...
