1) Logos are just regular images. To add a logo you need the image in a web-friendly graphic file format like .gif or .jpg You just add the image into your page with a normal graphics tag
<IMG SRC="logofilename.jpg" HEIGHT="XXX" WIDTH="XXX">

If you ask nicely in the Graphics help forum I'm sure somebody can give you some tips or help on creating your logo.

2) A Web editor is sort of like a basic text editor with tons of built-in functions designed especially for HTML documents. Yes you should use one. Yes you should use one.

If you're a beginner to this whole web-design thing, there are lots of online primers and tutorials to help you along the way. Try starting at: http://www.htmlgoodies.com/

That will teach you the basics.
