    <description> &lt;p&gt;You can try fullscreen new windows For something different) but need to let users know how to close it (ALT-F4). As Hass said there is no way to ensure IE opens maximized.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;You can&#039;t maximise a new window (not that I know of anyway). Your best bet is to create a new window and set the window height &amp;amp; width variables yourself. &lt;/p&gt;
