    <description> &lt;p&gt;I would suggest not using midi files because they suck. Personally they drive me crazy. If I visit a site that uses midi files I immediately exit - they are the worst design craze since blinking text.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;Yes, I would also suggest MIDI files for songs you plan on embedding into your page as they are much smaller and some actually enhance the content on a website.  If you don&#039;t know what they are, they come in .mid files and sound like what can be characterized as &quot;video game&quot; or &quot;computer&quot; music...  Do searches and such for Christmas Midi... there are many sites purely devoted to this topic.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I would recommend using midi files (.mid) for music. They are a lot smaller. Search at Altavista or Yahoo for Midi, and you should get tons of results.&lt;/p&gt;
