yes, Paint SHop Pro will be fine for this task. Then you can use the Animation Shop that comes with it to make the banners more visually impressive.

Those banners are images - animated gif's. All you need to do is create your picture then use the <IMG> tag to display the image.

This banner is part of what they call a banner exchange program where you can exchange banners with other users and they can put it on their site in which you will out their banner on yours. Does thar help any?

Sounds like to need to use a combination of scripts. One that opens the new window and another that opens it on loading the page. The open.window and onload commands are probably what you want to use. Another suggestion would be to view the source code on those pages that you are trying to emulate and see how they did it.

Do you know if you go to some severs that give you free web page space when you go to a site they have popup banners that appear at the top I am tryin to create a simple banner similar to those. Like going to an MSN homepage.

I tried using the above html but it did not do what I wanted. I am trying to get the text to scroll inside the background.
