    <description> &lt;p&gt;I know you could go from a blank image to a visible image, just call the mouseover from the image tag and be sure to call the right image in the script. As for appearing out of nowhere, DHTML can probably do it if you hide it offscreen or with visibility:hidden and then move it on screen or make the visibility:visible&lt;/p&gt;
