If trying to get the font sizes right is to much an effort (i don't like efforts, you see? ), you can always type your text in an image. That way, all browsers display your text the same way... Ofcourse, it's not the best solution (and with long texts, you can slow down your site a lot), but if you really want the fonts to look exactly the same in both browsers, this is one of the easiest ways...

This should do the trick:

BODY { font-size : 10pt; }
BODY { fontsize : 11pt; }

IE & NS are so incompatible that in css they require different lines
