what's wrong with NT ?!
Yes, it's superior to 95/98.
But I still have at least one bluescreen per day.
The OS/2-Desktop has much more features. (And you really use them).
Linux, AIX (and even HP-UX) are much faster and never crash. (Well at least as long as you don't try patching a running kernel )
Did you ever use QuarkExpress on a Mac ?
Or Gimp on an alpha ??

Well ... if you use (and develop) on/for a lot of systems there is one thing you'll find out very fast: "The whole WIN-Family makes you very unproductive and inefficient." (Anti, 1991)

btw:
Have you ever turned on an NT system and watched the collision-led of your hub burn immediatly ?? Give it a try. It always works.

Netscape forever, IE i only dare to touch for testing purposes
i have IE 4.0 and NS 4.6 on my NT machine, Lynx and NS on the Unix...
i try to keep MS as far away from my system as i can. i still don't trust MS at all, i remember the time when somebody found out they read all your serials and system configuration whenever you go to microsoft.com with IE....

For you NS fans, this will give you a chuckle. This has happened twice to me recently. Went to MS to d/l a patch for win95 if you are using the AMD processor. Both times in IE5, it crashed the browser when it tries to access the ftp site, but works perfectly with NS.

Anti, what's wrong with NT, it's far superior to Win95 or 98! Just doesn't do games is all, but runs faster and less prone to crashing.

I'm using Netscape from starting from version 2, before that I used Mosaic. I can tell you that Netscape rocks!!! I love it so much, although it crash sometimes when I'm writing my e-mail. IE is not my choice, but I have kept one on my hard disk to test my site.

Netscape is my thing, at least until I get a free opera copy.

I don't have windos based systems at home, so I can only use Netscape (or Lynx which is okay with well designed sites).
At work I'm forced to use NT (but that'll change), but I stick to Netscape.

In the early days I used Mosaic a lot, because it was the only graphical-browser available. There are still some good versions out there, but NS is simply available on every system.

btw:
NS only crashes on Windows. And only since NS declined to be bought by MS. I won't say more ... or they'll sue me.

Well, I use NS cuz IE is made by MS. Its that simple.
I have of course IE for testing but I hate it. It took me like two hours to remove all the stuff IE puts in your registry, so its harder to remove it as standard browser.
I also like Netscape for designing because sites that work in NS usually work in IE but allmost never the other way around.

it was in the news, quite a time ago i think. MS admitted whenever a user enters their web-site, the browser submits serial numbers of all MS-programs, computer-data, and whatever to microsuck

they said they would shut this off, but do you believe in them anymore?
i don't so whenever i have to go to microsoft.com i disable java and whatever else they could use.....

Hi All-
I'm for MSFT all the way. I bought the CD of IE5 (all you really pay for is shipping) and I will never turn back! It runs faster, and actuallys loads java and pages...unlike a certain other browser which has problems sometimes with that stuff...
