BigMailBox looks like a great program but you bring up an excellent point John that I hadn't really considered. Has anybody used this service and if so, how has your experience been?

As well as BigMailBox, everyone.net will now be advertising on the http://www.what-next.com site. I had a look and they do seem very good.

Don't touch bigmailbox man! Their service is a rip, 50-50 split on ads. Try everyone.net much better split, 70-30 for the same service. Even better you can buy a similiar program to that of what they use for $200-500 and you get all the ads, but then you also have all the admin work. Hope this helps.

Not sure if this is possible, but you might want to pre-screen requests, or give addresses only to specified people that you know. Also, make sure you have the postal address and phone number of the person so that if he or she spams you can charge a $120/hour "clean-up charge". If you verify all the info the person gives you is true, you should be able to track him/her down if anything happens. Then, if you do catch the person spamming just give all of his/her personal info to anyone that complains.

I never used one of these because I have no control over what people will send with it. If people start sending spam or harassing others with your address like that, you'll be the one who is blamed for it.

Just something you might consider, the services might watch for those type of things though.
