A few of my pointers to designing a high CTR banner:
- Use targeted advertising, i.e. only advertise on sites that are relevant to your product. This means that visitors to these chosen sites will have a moderate interest in your product / service, giving you a slight advantage before you even come to influence the visitor with your banner.

- If possible, place the banner above the fold (viewable without scrolling), because a banner above the fold means that the visitor will have to view your banner before clicking through another hyper-link.

- Make it STAND OUT! Banners woven into the design of the page might be aesthetically pleasing but do not score high CTR rates.

Use as big a banner as you can. Might sound obvious but the bigger the banner the higher the CTR.

- Use bright and bold colours, not black or grey, so that the banner jumps out from the page. It has been proved that bright colours will out score plain/dull colours such as greens and blues.

- Use animated banners to make your ad speak to the visitors, use several frames so that your banner conveys a useful message, not just a few stranded words.
Try and construct the animated banners so that the first frame 'grabs' the attention, then the second frame should explain the nature of the product/service. Finally, give a punchline that will persuade the customer to click on the banner.

- Keep the banner size down. A good scale to keep to is about 3 kilobytes or less for a static banner and no more than 9-10 kilobytes for a large animated banner.

- As with every thing else in life, the word FREE will attract visitors. But only use this method if you have something useful [and free, obviously] to offer.

I have a few suggestions:
1.) From the banner I have no idea what enduradezine is.
2.) Make your banner animated so it is more catchy. Also try to make it funny in some way, so it conveys a message.
3.) Try to explain your service and make the customer need it through your banner
4.) Use colors that stand out. Maybe red and yellow....
