Because it works in a windows env. but not in a UNIX one I would be willing to hazard a guess at it being a lower/upper case problem as windows does not mind about differences in this dep. (explaining why it works in win) but UNIX is more picky.
Verify all your links to see if this is the case.

<a href="http://homepages.go.com/~nique_/water">Here</a>

try it, you'll see which class doesn't load, just add tyhe file name to the url to see if it is there. Anwater.class etc.

OK, first JP.

yes, it does work offline only.
when i run it from my desktop.
The thing is, as soon as i uploaded it to my filemanager, it works for the first time you view it, then the class files are not loaded afterwards.
i've checked that the code points directly to the class files in my filemanager. even by entering the WHOLE URL.
it still didn't load.

tough one this huh?

Don't worry Tony, i'm well aware of the Netscape problem, that's why i only use that server to test new html pages. When my sites were at go.com they were doing that to Netscape browsers.

just rty going here:
www.abc.nasha.com

and tell me if the source shows up then, its at a tottally different server.

Hi Bandit,

I am not sure if you are creating your applets in pure html or are using an editor - but if you are using something like frontpage, then you need to make sure you are seeing all of the files in the explorer. Go to tools - web settings - advanced. There is a check box that lets you view all hidden directories. That way when you ftp you will see those and ftp them over.

If you are not using an editor, then I can't help...sorry I hope this info helps somewhat

I have some cool applets which work fine while i'm editing my page, but when next i visit the page, the class files "cannot be found".
I do not understand this, because i've even created new directories for all the files of the applet to run from, including the graphics.

das all..
