Thanks for the reply's. I have just moved to a new ISP and I've sent a support request for my URL. When I get it I will post the gif. Until then.....

The image in question looks like a cobble stone path complete with grout lines. The "stones" are of varying shades of blue. It will be easier to see when I post it.

It seems as if I'm going to have to learn how to manipulate simple images if I'm going to find success in this industry. But again thanks for the replies. So far I like what I see here and plan to participate often.

OK, I see what you mean, you want to recreate the blue border in green. Normally I would just use three different greens and then blur together (or something to that effect) but this must be more complicated to warrant the confusion; any chance of a link to this picture, as it would make it easier for us to see the problem;

It's pretty close, only looks a little less bright, but now thanks to your excellent post I'm confident I can take it the rest of the way.

This was produced using Adobe Photoshop 3 by adjusting the color balance and brightness/contrast. I adjusted cyan/red to -100, magenta/green to +100, and yellow/blue to -100. I adjusted brightness to -25 abd contrast to +15.

After the changes, I had to cut away what was the white part of background (as it had become a muddy gray) and replace with a white panel. Finally, I reapplied a shadow to match the original image.

Jeff,

All you need to do is goto a simple paint or graphics program and then open up the .gif image. Then simply change the colors using the color palette.

If you need more help with this please let us know.
