If you are hosting your site on other webhost and not your own server, then sendmail shouldn't be a problem. Hey, there would be hundreds of host sharing the server with you and they can't afford a sendmail failure.</p> <p>Here's a simple to test to see whether sendmail is working properly. Send an e-mail using your host SMTP server to yourself. If you receive the message, sendmail is working fine.</p> <p>"Warning: could not send message for past 4 hours" or " Warning: could not send message for past 1 day" usually means that the recepient e-mail is bad or unreachable. But I can't say definitely this is the problem.
