    <description> &lt;p&gt;Sure it could be done, but why? To call a CGI script on your web page you’d have to use SSI. So you might as well just use a SSI file include tag. You can also achieve the same results in ASP or PHP if SSI doesn’t work on your server for some reason.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You can also use the template feature in some visual HTML editors to update a certain area throughout the site. But you’d have to upload the entire site every time you updated the news section.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;SSI is really the solutions..&lt;/p&gt;
