    <description> &lt;p&gt;Well if you&#039;re using that server the only other thing you will need to do is register the file extensions &quot;.cgi&quot; and &quot;.pl&quot; to ActivePerl. The install might do this for you, but it&#039;s good to check. This way you won&#039;t need to worry about changing the compiler line (#!/usr/local/bin/perl or something like that). If for some reason you didn&#039;t like Xitami, another good one, Website Pro, is available at  &lt;a href=&quot;http://website.oreilly.com&quot; class=&quot;bb-url&quot;&gt;http://website.oreilly.com&lt;/a&gt; .&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;I am assuming that you&#039;re talking about testing it on the Windows OS. If the scripts you are testing are CGI scripts (like you said), then you&#039;ll need a webserver.
