Viewing Code of a Program

Does anybody know how to view the code to a program, and the associated files it uses? More specifically, http://www.hmonitor.com/ has a HD and CPU temp gauge, and well as Fan RPM. I know VB, and wish to write my own little version, more suited visually to what I want. Any clues as to how to access these sensors, and/or to view the code would be awesome. Thanks.

To see the source code, you will most likely have to contact the people who wrote it. I doubt since they charge for the program that they are going to give out the source code for anyone to bypass paying for it. (I understand that this may not be your intentions, however if the source code was out there, people would do this).

This is part of the license for the program:

Quote: You may NOT copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed program, or any subset of the licensed program, except as provided for in this agreement. Any such unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this license and may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution.

Additionally, this may be written in something different than VB.

Here is a link to some info, didn't read it all though, at one of the forums that I use for help with VB.
