Suggestions for Improved Visuals Needed

We have just launched a new look website to reflect a wider service offering. Unfortunately, when I put the site together I lost sight of what I was trying to achieve and now I am not sure where to go with it. I want it to reflect our full range of offerings, but I am concerned that the message is confused. I also wanted our website to be accessible and drafted in the help of an ex-collegue to help with coding. This has resulted in a very text heavy site, so I am looking for suggestions on how navigation can be improved and impact added. Another problem is that it needs to appeal to both business and education providers - user groups with very different requirements.

The site is http://www.optimatraining.co.uk/

Any sugegstions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey,
Your site looks good and professional though.
Do check for some error as the site gets loaded especially in IE7.

Look fine, but not very professional in my opinion,

Thanks,

The blue hues are a tad bright... The texts are a bit heavy, the main navigation hover and active makes the text disappear on the background you should think of a different scheme on that area. The paddings on the main content area should be increased. I like the header and shadowing effects. You should think of a way to blend the middle area from the header and the footer to make the page look more cohesive...

I liked all of the layout and graphics,,,
excepting the copy...
Maybe you were not talking to me as
i don't need the service and i am from another
part of the world,,, but the copy was,,,
hard on my ears..
Take,,, "the provision of language training "
I understand what it means but,,, it is just hard on my "ears"..
And too many "Buzz" words.

I agree with customicondesig.
I would use the homepage layout on every page. And as for donnsikaks comment, you can check your layouts at http://browsershots.org/.

The header is great. Maybe work on the links area and make it more similar to the header. Also probably make the content area a different color to the background. But to be honest it's great already.
