Ive got two new small business websites up. just need some finishing touches.

First one is - http://www.business-small.co.uk/
- this is my favorite.
- I'm looking around to add the website directory but haven't came accross any sutiable ones yet.
- I'm trying to make the wordpress blog fit in more with the rest of the site but its not an easy thing to work with.

second one is - http://www.smallbuisness.org.uk/
- I miss-spelled the domain name when buying it lol Laughing out loud so I've just thrown up a simple website.
- if it gets decent traffic (if other people also miss-spell "business" alot) I'll update it.

Thanks,
Andy

1st one too green, change colour to a more sublte green. Could do with a nice logo.

Menu could do with a more easy nav approach.

In all honesty, site really hurts the eyes, but that is just colour scheming so that can be changed easily.

The overall layout is well done. you need to tweak certain things like your fonts, colour, logo, top and bottom menu and side menu.

On the domain names I would stick with the correct spelling for your main, granted you can always mirror for any extra traffic on a redirect basis, but as you probably know, google does correct spelling when searching if people choose the option.

The layout on your primary site domain would work the best so far, if you are really trying to pull in business companies always remember flashy colours are not best, a more straight forward and professional look and approach appeals more.

Hope this helps.

Although the 2nd domain you mentioned is wrong it's not an absolute tragedy. Luckily quite a few people do spell it like that by mistake so they may find your site by chance! Although I agree it would have been better if you spelt it corectly!

I quite like the fact that your primary site loads quickly. I'm going to agree with mandyjb on the colour scheme, it's slightly too bright. The layout of everything is nice too. Except for the navigation, I would use a more subtle colour of green behind your links there. In my opinion, there are too many large green boxes, but eitherway your layout is still good.
Keep it up man.

You might want to fix the horizontal menu as well so that it is in one line across the page rather than split up into two.
Also the blue active link and purple visited link color is a little difficult to read when on the dark green of the right hand menu.

Good luck!

I like the way you've kept the new spelling, " buisness" throughout the second site! Consistency is everything!

UK Small Business - business-small.co.uk :
The green is disturbing.
The title of the page is repeated three times on the page with large fonts. Do I seem dumb?
You would better have a logo for the title, it would bring you some lights on the main page.
The menus are awkward to use.
What's with the menu on the right? It's so hard to use it!
