Just completed the developement of this site. Everything was done by me including scripting, html, graphics, etc.
Quick Overview: Florida specific search engine, portal with all the extras you'd typically expect.

Good idea and nicely implimented.
I'm sure if I was wanting to visit Florida, your site would be a helpful guide to get me started.
The one thing you might want to fix with your design is your js menu... it's too wide at 775 pixels. If you shorten it a little you can avoid scrollbars.
Overall, your site may be light in the graphics department, but when you're creating an interesting search engine / registry, you don't want too many images cluttering things up.
