10 seconds of understanding: the first thing I saw was "What are the benefits of using gp2mob application?" which was really confusing and I didn't understand it at all. Then I saw the cheap gas prices heading and that made more sense to me.

The layout and design of the site are okay but a little boring. That shade of blue is really common in web design. It doesn't make your site stand out at all. I don't like the photo on the right side because it makes it look like the header just ends at a certain point. The photo is so light, it's not really noticeable. Try to find a photo with a darker scheme so it doesn't blend in to the page background.

I'm not sure about the font on this site either. It looks best in tahoma or arial.

Megan's points are all valid but I got the hang of what the site was about reasonably fast. Maybe not 10 seconds but not too bad. You could put a heading on the blank space in the banner saying 'gas prices to your cell phone'. Instant explanation. The colours are a little boring and the banner could be more creative but I found it functional - as in easy to navigate and understand. Sounds like a good idea too. The right hand column is a bit heavy on the logos - is it really necessary to have 4 paypal logos, and I think the only people who appreciate validation banners are other webmasters. Use a text link for the validation reference.

Tart up the appearance a bit and I think it will be good.

Great logo would do this site justice. The right hand side content could be coloured diferently to differentiate from the main content. Megans view on the font is correct, play with fonts and see what you think would look better. Try helvetica or verdana, could make a difference.

As Blue said, too much paypal.

Try a nice subtle blue for your BG.

Apart from that, site well presented and should do well.

Thank you all for you comments.

I've updated the site a bit. Let me know if anything still stands out
as out of order or is missing.

Thanks.

10 seconds reaction: Eh....
Logo and colors: You are off just a little on the coloring. The yellow is clashing a bit and creating eye strain.
General look and feel is good, layout is good and user friendly.
The purpose of the site is a little confusing.
Your SEO seems minimal... if you would like some help with that let me know.

Hope this helps.

I didn't see the first version so I don't know how it's changed but the current site looks nice to me.

Otherwise, and this is completely subjective thing, I think it would look better in a contained space rather than open plan. But it's looking good!

I like the web site alot. But ...

Why use Courrier font? It's like old news. It's different though, so that might be a clue. Smiling

The graphics of the mobile phone is of poor quality. You might want to work on that.

Do you think that anyone has time to watch the full animation of the GIF files?

I would suggets that maybe you seperate out the content with different bg colors or speration lines.

- Layout - seems ok, easy to spot, not too mess up.
- color - good, bright and easy to capt.
- logo - very nice but too small and not catchy.
- general look and feel - very good, I give you 7.5/10 for whole site. for register button, it look awful imo and not attract to click on it. banner on the top right looking not professional that make your site look downgrade a little.
- 10 secs understanding - cheap phone call
- 20 secs understanding - Oww..that is a gas price on your mobile.
- SEO - good but consider to change file name of your logo? this may not effect your ranking but your logo is on top and se even better spot your site for your filename.
- usability - hey, I see live support but I couldn't spot "FREE 7 day trial" as well. You should consider to move it up to make it easier to spot to raise up for your trial user.

I didnt read anybody elses feedback to remain impartial, so Im sorry if I repeat whats already been said...

- layout
looks ok here, standard two column, found what I was looking for, although I think you need a darker shaded bg, or a vertical line division for the second column, since now I think without those this looks kinda busy...

- choice of colors
blue hues, and use of whitespace is generally a favorable color scheme to remain neutral, not really wowing but it works for this site...

- logo, banner
This could be a lot better, it doesnt look outstanding at the moment, and it doesnt drag my eyes to look at the sites name, or the tagline for that matter...

- "general look and feel"
To sum up whats written above, it looks standard, but clean, not really giving me an oomph effect but it does the job fairly well. The structure is good, although a little tweak on hemispherical pheripheral vision could improve, since the site is a full width design, a divider as mentioned for the columns could do wonders here...

- 10 secs understanding
I see a really imposing phone image, and that leads me to think this is a mobile phone selling store, and the second I look at some headers, I understand some of the service although it was not really clear... and I thought this was a sony-ericsson site...

- SEO
Well, you have content and lots of it... your html is pretty clean and light, although theres some inline styles I found there, doesnt really affect SEo that much...

- usability
Pretty useful, although you need to emphasize why they need your service... Your links should be outstanding like the register now image could not do justice to the page, you should rethink that one, and finally try to summarize the content, and put more heading texts before each element of that long explanation. To me at the moment, I makes me feel that its not fit to read...

Hope this gives you some insight...
