All comments are welcome,i welcome constructive criticism.

I am an ecommerce student and as part of my course work, I need to have a website critiqued. this site is created by a group of three.

I need the home page to be reviewed whether it would persuade you to either purchase the item, or at least inquire for further information.
The site is still under construction so some links will just pop up an alert box.

When do you need your critiques done by? I might have some time tomorrow but the weekend would be better if you don't mind waiting Smiling

It's a decent start. I like the logo and the side links design. The body content isn't designed well. A product title would be nice. The pictures need to be optimized for web viewing, they seem kind of pixelated (at least the first one does). The layout of the pictures could be done differently. Also, to me it would seem that there would only need to be one buy now button since there is only one product being sold. Anyways, good start.

I like that you've kept the design nice and simple. It's easy to get carried away with graphics and things like that but you really want to show off the product here. I think the look is a little old fashioned looking for the type of products the site is selling. This is a high-tech product, and yet you're using a wood grain effect in the design! Something is not quite right here Wink The icons in the navbar are more appropriate - smooth and sleek looking.

I like that you've featured some product photos on the home page, and the intro does a good job of explaining what the site is about. The product photos should be linked to more details, and it would be nice if all three photos were the same size. Same thing on the products page - photos should be the same size and they should line up along the left side.

I like the summary at the top of the products page too - that makes things very clear. Adding a line about where you ship to might be useful.

Don't forget to add a title to your document Smiling This is very important for search engines.

Some Points:

First, there is no title tag, the page title is "Untitled Document" you should change that first...

there is a lot of whitespace and it's not properly used since you left-justified the content...

As a buyer I would click the image to see further information of the product or at the very least see a mode of ordering or paying for it...

the logo and the header could do with a serious overhaul, it's a bit cheesy if you know what I mean...

What I like about it though are the navigation, I like the Icons and the way it is presented...

This design really has potential, but for products like those, you need to at least take inspiration from them and use it in the site,,,

Hi,

Just had a look at your home page. A few comments:

I personally think that there is not enough information on this page.

A better introduction would help with some more information on USB drives and exactly what they do - potential customers might not fully understand why they need USB's and in order to sell these products you customers need to know exactly what they are getting and why they need to purchase your product.

The website design didn't really grab my attention and it didn't seem very business orientated but that's only my opinion.

Overall this could be a really good website with a little more content.
